Medical centre at Christuskirche
Right in the heart of Eimsbüttel is where the “Ärztehaus an der Christuskirche”, the frequently visited medical centre, is located. The location in the cityscape is unique. The imposing building with its striking rotunda is highly visible in all directions even from far away.
The lavish façade with its contemporary, rectangular archways provides the perfect conclusion to the Schäferkampsallee which turns into the Fruchtallee at this point. The traditional red brick building fits perfectly into its surroundings while the white rotunda towers above the floors below.
Eimsbüttel, the second-most densely populated suburb of Hamburg, is very popular on account of its proximity to the inner city, its urban nature, and its excellent infrastructure. This is one of the main reasons Wegner Immobilien initiated this project development at this very location in 1991. The medical centre with its surgeries and affiliated chemist’s, and not least because of Penny Markt supermarket, makes it a central port of call at the well-known crossroads; this is also where the Christuskirche underground train station is located (U-Bahn).
This building complex also includes six apartments which are situated on the side towards the quiet street Hohe Weide along with eight underground car park spaces. A storey could be added to both wings of the building.
