City-Center Bremer Brücke
The “City-Center Bremer Brücke” is a modern centre for local services and supplies in Osnabrück. In order to meet the growing demands for modern local services and supplies, the famila store that used to be on this plot was redeveloped extensively in 2009–10.
Project development was performed by WeFa Immobilien GmbH, a subsidiary of Wegner Immobilien, with its office in Dortmund.
The existing building was completely gutted and extended extensively. In place of the previous reinforced concrete building, there is now a complex, 16-tonne sectional steel construction. The eye-catching extension can be seen from quite a distance due to its glass façade and the orange-coloured metal composite panels.
